Relative to the prior question - How do you clean this unit? I have the same issue with grit in the bottom of the bowl. I do rinse the tube that draws the water up but it continues to happen. We live in an area with iron in the water

We have this humidifier and after running it at night and when we go to refill it, dirt (or something that looks like dirt) &nbsp;falls out of a small hole in the lid into the water. Is this supposed to happen?&nbsp;
