SAFETY RECALL

Holmes® Oil Filled Heaters

HOH2520:

HOH2505:

If you purchased one of the oil filled heaters listed above, stop using the heater immediately.
These products were manufactured between June 2005 and September 2006.
Please follow the steps below to determine if your heater is subject to recall and eligible for replacement.

Step 1:

Locate the Model Number on your heater to ensure it is model HOH2520 or HOH2505.

  • The Model Number can be found on the UL label located on the bottom or back of the heater (see image below).
  • Note: If your Model Number does not match HOH2520 or HOH2505, then your heater is not part of this recall.

Step 2:

Check the Production Code to confirm it is one of the numbers on the Acceptable Product codes list below:

  • Note: If your Production Code does not match one of the Production Codes on the list then your heater is not part of this recall.

Step 3:

If you are in possession of a recalled model with a listed Production Code, contact us at 1-800-546-5637 to confirm your eligibility and register for a replacement heater.

Step 4 (if eligible):

If it is determined that you are eligible for a replacement heater; unplug your heater and cut the plug off of your power cord.

Step 5 (if eligible):

Mail the following to the address provided below:

  • The plug which was cut off of the power cord.
  • A 3x5 index card with your name, mailing address, home telephone number, model number, and product color.

Addressed to:

  • Attention: Heater Recall Center
  • 4110 Premier Drive
  • Suite 101
  • High Point, NC 27265

Step 6 (if eligible):

Once your plug has been received and your registration confirmed, your replacement heater will be shipped within 2-3 weeks. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Holmes® Tower Fans

HT30
If you purchased the tower fan listed above, stop using the fan immediately.
Please follow the steps below to determine if your tower fan is subject to recall and eligible for replacement.

Step 1:

Locate the Model Number on your fan to ensure it is HT30.

  • The Model Number can be found on the UL label located on the bottom of the fan (see image below).

Step 2:

If you are in possession of a HT30 tower fan, contact us at 1-800-546-5637 to confirm your eligibility and register for a replacement fan.

Step 3 (if eligible):

If it is determined that you are eligible for a replacement fan; unplug your HT30 fan and cut the plug off of your power cord.

Step 4 (if eligible):

Mail the following to the address provided below:

  • The plug which was cut off of the power cord.
  • A 3x5 index card with your name, mailing address, home telephone number, model number, and product color.

Addressed to:

  • Attention: Holmes Fan Recall Center

  • High Point, NC 27265

Step 5 (if eligible):

Once your plug has been received and your registration confirmed, your replacement fan will be shipped within 2-3 weeks. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

If you purchased one of the tower heater fans listed above, stop using the heater immediately.
These products were manufactured between July 2004 and November 2004.
Please follow the steps below to determine if your tower heater fan is subject to recall and eligible for replacement.

Step 1:

Locate the Model Number on your heater to ensure it is one of the following models: HFH6498, HFH6500, HFH6500TG, or BFH3530.

  • The Model Number can be found on the silver UL label located on the bottom of the heater (see image below).

Step 2:

If you are in possession of a recalled model listed in Step 1, contact us at 1-800-593-4269 to confirm your eligibility and register for a replacement heater.

Step 3 (if eligible):

If it is determined that you are eligible for a replacement heater; unplug your heater and cut the plug off of your power cord.

Step 4 (if eligible):

Mail the following to the address provided below:

  • The plug which was cut off of the power cord.
  • A 3x5 index card with your name, mailing address, home telephone number, model number, and product color.
