Description

The Holmes® Germ-Reducing True HEPA Air Purifier uses UV Technology to help purify the air that passes through the filter. With 130 CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate), this air purifier is ideal for medium-sized rooms up to 202 square ft. The filtration begins with a prefilter that caputures large particles such as pet hair and dust bunnies. The air then passes through the True HEPA filter capturing particles as small as 0.3 microns to remove up to 99.97% of airborne particles. The air is then sanitized through ultraviolet light and PCO (photocatalytic oxidation) killing germs, bacteria, mold, and fungi to prevent recirculation of harmful pollutants.* And lastly, the optional ionizer helps to bind smaller particles to form larger particles that are more easily captured. The Oscillation feature brings your True HEPA air purifier 75 degrees of oscillation to keep air flowing more evenly throughout your room. This air purifier meets ENERGY STAR-certified guidelines to ensure energy efficiency. Rated 5 out of 5 by Bbg85 from Nice air purifier This is a great air purifier for either a bedroom or smaller living room, we did put this in our living room and I can tell a difference as far as my allergies. This Holmes air purifier has a UV light that uses a 4 step filtration system to help purify the air that flows through the machine it kills 99.97 percent of bacteria. I would recommend using the uv light with it as it is for killing bacteria in the air. It also has an ionizer that puts negative ions in the air and they grab onto dust and particles, it does use more energy so I definitely opt out to using the ion feature. Overall I highly recommend this to anyone needing an air purifier.

I had a small air purifier in our bedroom and it really helped with allergy related issues, so I was anxious to get a larger one for our den. This Holmes Air Purifier is perfect! It is the right size for a larger room and it has everything you could want in an air purifier - UV light, HEPA filter and Ionizer. It oscillates, has 3 speeds, and a timer feature (energy saving) - like I said, what more could you want! The unit is very sleek and attractive, not an eyesore in your room. We run it on the medium speed and it is quiet enough you don't notice it. I couldn't be happier! A+

I was so impressed by the Holmes germ reducing, air cleaner and purifier, because really does a great job in purifying and cleaning the air in my home, and it has so many nice features, like the 4h to 24 hour timer, and the UV technology, with the power to reduce germs, clean and purify the air. The Holmes machine is really very sleek looking, that I don't mind placing it in the middle of my living room area, and another great thing is that it is very quite. I love that I can have it in the middle of the room and it will turn to blow air all over instead of just 1 spot like my other purifiers. The fact that it also has an internal UV light is amazing! HEPA filters are great if you have pets, and allergens in the home like mold, or live in a particular dusty area like we do (a farm.) This filter is GREAT for filtering all those out and more! Wonderful!

Best of all is how unbelievably quiet it is. I have noticed less dust in my room too. It has an oscillation feature for better air circulation. It is so simple to use and set what functions you need. It has a night mode, 3 speed settings, a night mode and preset timer that is self explanatory. It also has an ionizer and a filter change indicating feature. Trying to keep things clean and sanitized lately is challenging and this helps tremendously! Absolutely will be getting another one for other areas in my home. I have two dogs and this has helped with that as well. My child has seasonal allergies and I have noticed a difference with that too!! I highly recommend trying it!!

On low there is almost no noise. The fan has 3 different speeds, timer and an option for ozone. You can leave uv on or off. I have a dog and bird and this unit has definitely made a difference in the air quality. Anyone looking to reduce allergens and just have cleaner air would benefit.

I have two cats and sometimes between all of the dust, pollen, and cat here they can get to be a little bit much. We use this in our bedroom and it has helped with our allergies so much. I love the fact that doesn't take long at all to start circulating the air, and it just doesn't amazing job overall. I would love to try more products in this brand!
