The Holmes® Cool Mist Humidifier creates purified mist and is ideal for small rooms within your home. This cool mist humidifier includes a filter to trap and remove impurities and odors for fresh, clean moisture. It propels cool mist for up to 24 hours on its Low setting. The water tank contains antimicrobial protection to prevent mold and bacteria growth. This Holmes humidifier has 2 mist output settings to humidifiy your room and includes an aromatherapy cup to use with your favorite essential oils.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT cool mist I was looking forward to using this; it has NO mist. It simply evaporates the water with a fan and does NOT humidify at all. I needed it recently when I was sick and all it did was blow a fan- it should NOT be called cool mist- there is NO mist. There is NO moisture that comes out, only air from the fan. I am really disappointed with this. I would get better results by setting up a fan in front of a bowl of water.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Grows Mold Within 2 days there is mold in my tank and is very difficult to get clean. Also I have a hard time finding replacement filters. I even put a cleaning agent in the water to keep it from molding, but I have to clean it every other day. In addition, I never really feel the moisture unless I literally lay on top of it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not complete and ready to use There are no purifier tablets included in a new purchase of this unit. It did include a filter. Stupid not to be able to take out of the box, set up and run without having to run to the store or order these tablets on line.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from YES Less then a year age I purchased a cool mist humidifier - can not find or order a wick filter for it - already discontinued. I guess I will buy a different brand that doesn't outdate.
