Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gets the job done. Got three of these fans as I just moved house but it was too late in the season to buy A/C units, and it's a warm Fall where I am. I have a couple of other Holmes fans that have been going for years and are still good, but needed fans for each room. (Old house had central air) For the short-term these are very good fans and keep the rooms cool. As a bonus, being a smoker, on full exhaust these extract most of the cigarette smoke from the house as well. I will still need A/C next summer, but for warmer Spring & Fall days these fans do the job just fine. And they are quiet, even when running flat out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Easy Ultimate Flexability I love my new fan! I looked everywhere for a window fan I could easily switch from intake to exhaust, simply by pressing a button or sliding a lever (ie, not having to take the fan out of the window and turning it around, which is what other manufacturers call 'manual switch from intake to exhaust'). Additionally, I LOVE that I can control the speed and air direction of the two fans within the unit independently; I can bring a lot of cool air in at night on one side but stop the draft on the other side, closest to my bed, by putting that side on low exhaust. There's so much flexibility. Just what I wanted!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy in. Easy comfort. Summer 2016 has been the most uncomfortable temperature-wise. I have lived without A/C on the NH Seacoast for years and have never needed more than a small room fan to get by. I was fortunate enough to use one of these fans on a brief trip to Maine and decided it was time to get one for myself. The fan is very easy to install and very easy to use. The multiple comfort-level settings are simple to adjust and the thermostat is a great energy saver, turning the fans on or off depending on what's needed. Took about two weeks to arrive, but has been the greatest purchase of the summer so far.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice fan very quiet So quiet it hardly blows any air, even on high you can hardly feel a breeze from a few feet away. Very dissapointing. I don't even want to return it, not worth the trouble. Purchased a Bionaire to replace it. A much smaller fan with a very large breeze

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Fan The Holmes® Dual Blade Window Fan with Comfort Control Thermostat is so weak. It moves no air. I am so disappointed. The reviews made it sound like a great fan, but I could stand in the corner and whistle and create a bigger breeze. I want to send it back, but the shipping will probably be almost as much as I paid for it. Terrible fan!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Window fan I bought this fan for its features the size was right but the fan barely moves any air

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Return I bought this fan to replace an old Honeywell unit. I was I very disappointed. Didn't have velocity I was hoping for.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great when it worked I really loved this fan. I was impressed at how well it cooled my room. But after one season of light use, the motor died. I just can't justify the money spent when it worked for such a short amount of tie.
