Rated 5 out of 5 by QTMcdoofus from GREAT for smokers with non smoking partner :) We have TWO of these units- one in the garage (where my boyfriend smokes) and one in the main part of the house. We also have two cats. I cant tell you what a difference the purifiers make! Not only is there less dander (and my sinuses are thankful!) but the cigarette smoke is not noticeable (almost) at all. Also, we live in CA- and with fire season, the purifiers are running full time, non-stop (on level 3, per the instructions) and our house does not smell like a wildfire (like some of my neighbors, unfortunately). I'm SO GLAD we bought these! :) I wish you sneeze free days with your new air purifier!

Rated 5 out of 5 by HENRIETTA from Reduced The Number of Asthma Attacks I bought this unit and a smaller one back in 2015 and 2016. The smaller unit I ran everyday for my granddaughter in her room. The bigger unit for my room. Since moving into my new home, had not use either units. But four days ago, I turned on the larger unit in the hallway of the house. It has cleared the air so much that my house shows no signs of any particals, cat hair or dust flying around the room. The house is so clean looking. It has caused me to reduce the number of breathing treatments that I have had to take to as needed. My house is so much fresher and I do not have to get rid of my cats. Thank you so much. P.S. I can live with the noise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dabh1204 from Multiple units and long term daily use Initially purchased my HAP726 about 10 years ago to replace my Honeywell unit. It was equally efficient, slightly less expensive and is easier to change or replace hepa and carbon filters. I have gone from 1 Holmes cleaner to 4, replacing all my Honeywell units. We run ours 24/7. I even have a small unit I pack to take on trips! Also, we had one unit in the last 10 years that stopped working and their customer service was awesome! I’d highly recommend this product for anyone with allergies or who just want a cleaner inside air quality!

Rated 5 out of 5 by HE PA from cleans the air i bought one a few years ago. very good at removing particles. i bought two more later and now purchasing a 4th. i live near a great northeastern city and the air is very dusty from industry. plus folks burn wood in winter. i see the debris the carbon filters block. the HEPA filters catch the rest. any surface such as dresser top, shelves or knick-knacks remains clean. i vacuum the carbon filters every 6 weeks which is easier than dusting everything else. noisy? yes. quite on "1" setting but i use 3 in bedroom and 4 every where else. i'll put up with some noise to have clean air. you should too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Naff from IT'S PERFECT!!!!!!! I bought 3 of these for my grand children's homes for Christmas presents. I had no idea how thrilled they would be. Now all the great grand kids want one for their bedrooms, so I guess that means that I will need 7 more sometime this next year. I like the smaller unit for bedrooms but I really can't do without the 5 large units I bought several years ago. I am so glad that I took the name of the air machine that was in my Allergist office.

Rated 1 out of 5 by West Winds from Very Disappointed I was expecting great things from this unit considering the price, but I can't say my expectations have been met. Basically, this is just a big fan. The so-called "charcoal" component is actually just a piece of charcoal-colored cellulose. My previous and (much less expensive) smaller unit has an actual charcoal pack in it together with their HEPA filter. This unit did far less for my congested lungs than my previous unit. My honest opinion is 'save your money". There are better, less expensive, buys out there that actually do what they claim.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Meeeeeeeeee from Works Very Well 5 Stars... agree with Amazon reviews=noisy at any level....recommend setting to level 1 and think of it as white noise. I would buy this product again and would recommend it to my friends. Cons: Starts at level 4 (max) at start up. Otherwise great product for the money

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bpoirier from Very unhappy I bought this for my son after talking about how great they are. I have the model with three filters. It’s so noisy he doesn’t use it. Even on the lowest setting you still hear it and the air movement is so low it seems like a waste of electricity. There no option to add a filter to the door like my model. For the $100 I paid I feel ripped off. The produce maybe cost a few dollirs to make.
