Don't buy- no replacement filters!
I only got part of a season's use out of this unit since they don't have replacement filters. What's with that!

Extremely effective, but noisy
I bought this to replace a "cool mist" humidifier that was filling my house with white dust. Living in Arizona, I've owned many humidifiers over the years. This one is the most effective at quickly dumping large amounts of H20 into the air that I've ever used. However, it is so loud on all settings that it is essentially unusable unless qualify of life is of no value to you (or you have a way to banish it to a place where it doesn't bother you). I run it at night when my bedroom door is shut and when I leave the house.
As others have reported, it can leak water on the floor if the reservoirs are disturbed. Once you get the hang of how to handle them, this doesn't seem to be a problem.

Everything is great. Love the controls.
I have had this humidifier for years and let me tell you that I truly love it. Easy to fill and set the amount of moisture you need in your area. I have had mine for so many years that I think it is time to retire it and look at getting a new one before they decide to discontinue it. Only difficulty is trying to clean the fan blades. That is a challenge and I haven't figured that out yet. It is quite dusty here in Arizona so you need to keep after it. But overall, It is great.

I can't find the filter on your website
I cannot find the name/number of the filter used in the HCM600 humidifier. It would be nice if you added the number in the description or a link to the filter. I would think that would help you sell more filters.

PUTS OUT A LOT OF H2O
WE HAVE BEEN USING THIS HUMIDIFER FOR THE PAST 7 YEARS. LIVING IN LAS VEGAS IT IS VERY DRY. SINGLE DIGIT HUMIDITY. IF YOU DON'T USE A HUMIDIFER, IT'S ALIGATOR DRY SKIN. THIS IS THE BEST WE HAVE USED.

Hold House Humidifier
Excellent Product. The drive motor housing is outstanding and durable. However the duel water reservoirs have a tendancy to corrode and wear out at the water retaining cap. It appears Holmes does not make replacment water reservoirs. As a result, you have to purchase a completely new system, even though the drive motor housing is still operational. Because to this issue I have had to purchased 3 of these humidifers.

Humidifiers needed for health
It brings up the humidity level in my home in the winter when the heat is on. I need to balance the air for my asthma. I just wish it was a little easier to fill the tank, instead of taking it off and filling it from the bottom. I have two of this type for years and am satisfied with the job it does.
