HOW DO I CLEAN MY FAN? Per the instructions provided in your instruction manual, we recommend that you clean the non-electrical parts of your fan frequently to maintain optimum fan performance. Ensure that your fan is unplugged before cleaning. Tower fans- Clean your fan by using the brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner to vacuum the intake grills to remove lint and dirt. For safety purposes, never open these units for any reason. Stand /Table/Wall Mount fans- Disassemble your front and rear grills. Reverse the assembly instructions found in the product instruction manual to disassemble the blade parts. The grills and blade may be immersed to be cleaned with a mild detergent and water. Wipe all other parts with a soft damp cloth. Use a mild detergent if necessary. Be sure not to touch the motor. DRY ALL PARTS COMPLETELY BEFORE REASSEMBLING. Box fans- Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the screws on the outside perimeter of the front grill. Remove the front grill, exposing the fan blade. Wipe the blade with a soft damp cloth. Use a mild detergent if necessary. Be sure not to touch the motor or any other electrical components. Floor fans- Wipe the fan with a soft, damp cloth. Use a mild detergent if necessary. For all fan types- Clean your fan by using the brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner to remove most lint and dirt.
